After receiving the accolade of 'Essential New Tune' just a few weeks ago for the amazing Dirty South Remix of John Dahlback's 'Pyramid' (Available now from the Cr2 Store - www.cr2records.co.uk) - I turned on my radio at exactly the right moment on Friday night to hear Pete Tong introduce this weeks Essential New Tune, and what a pleasant surprise to hear that it was Eddie Thoneick 'I Wanna Freak You'!!He played the Eddie Thoneick Classic Mix, and gave it a real big up saying 'Trust me, this works!'. For those that are not aware of the track, it is destined to be a big one for the summer - it's a rather catchy house re-work of the classic Jodeci R&B track 'Freak 'N' You'.
